Classroom Expectations for 2nd Grade

Classroom Rules:

1. We will listen and follow the teacher’s instructions.
2. We will come to class on time and prepared to learn.
3. We will always cooperate and show respect toward one another.
4. We will take care of the classroom and school materials including technology devices.
5. We will return all materials to their proper place before leaving the room.

Rewards:

1. Verbal Praise
2. Choosing a class activity
3. Playing an educational board or computer game

Consequences:

1. Student receives a verbal warning.
2. Student loses recess. 
3. Student loses a conduct point.
4. Parents will be notified regarding student discipline.
5. Parent-Teacher-Student conference will be scheduled.
6. Student will receive an office referral.

*It is important that your child brings homework every day. If your child does not bring in their completed homework, you will be notified immediately.
